Time slots

Available Monday to Thursday. Each lesson is arranged on an individual basis and according to availability. Lessons usually start on the hour or half hour and can be arranged for any time. Please note that they do not finish later than 7:30 pm.

Lesson during school hours

In accordance with the Private Music Teacher & the School Administration Act, Section 6, (Sub-sec.2.):

"...a child is excused from attendance at school, if he/she is absent from school for the purpose of receiving instruction in music and the period of absence does not exceed one-half day in any week."

This allows school children to have their lessons during school times, before they are too tired or onto other extra curricular activities. Take advantage of before school times, early morning, lunch hours, recesses and mid-afternoon times.

Parents wishing this privilege for their children are advised to discuss this matter with their children's school teachers and principal.

Number of lessons

There are 38 weeks of private lessons during the year from Monday, Sept 8 to Friday, June 19.

Lessons will not be given on the following days:

*Note: The Monthly tuition of $80 is not to be adjusted in December and in March for Christmas break and March break. Tuition is not based simply on the number of lessons per week per month so please be aware of this when writing out postdated cheques
